Miriam Wade is an Irish goldsmith and designer from Mullingar, Co. Westmeath. Thanks to her love of 3-D Sculptural pieces as a child she studied jewellery and metalwork at NCAD in Dublin. After this course she then studied The Design & Crafts Council of Ireland Jewellery & Goldsmithing Skills course. Her pieces are inspired by the historical landscape of the midlands. All pieces are made from precious metals and carry the stamp of authenticity from the Irish Assay Office.
This piece is inspired by the rippling waves of Westmeath. The piece reflects the movements in the water and the ever changing shapes it creates. This brightly polished sterling silver pendant hangs from a 18 inch chain and is finished with a lobster catch. A wonderful gift for yourself or someone special.

Love love love my Ilse Jacobsen platform Tulip Shoes: they fit perfectly and the colour is joy personified. I also bought a few other things from Standun, which I’m equally delighted with, especially a pretty recycled glass vase which is the perfect shape and shade. Everything arrived beautifully packaged, although the shipping from Ireland to the Isle of Wight took longer than I imagined. But good things are worth waiting for (and it was free postage too)!
